As a member of the Sales Enablement team, the role as a courseware developer, primarily responsible for driving coordination and collaboration with Product Marketing and other functions for creation of content in support of the Network Security Expert (NSE) certification program. Specifically, the role will focus on setting and executing a strategy and supporting content for NSE 2 and 3 levels of the overall NSE program. Working closely with Program Manager Sales Enablement, NSE 1, this position will help define and execute a content strategy to aid in the enablement of sellers, partners, customers, and the general public.


Using industry standard principles of instructional design, you will design specialized training on network security and enhanced industry technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze learner needs and interfaces with other courses and NSE certifications
    • Communicate security solutions for appropriate scenarios
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to assemble and deliver key information
    • Design and validate lab or hands-on exercises to reinforce learning objectives
    • Use and contribute to style guides and templates
    • Publish student and instructor course material according to requested delivery mode formats
    • Evaluate requirements for content localization and coordinate implementation as necessary
    • Perform comprehension and technical accuracy reviews for exams, workbooks, and presentations
    • Travel to training classes and team meetings as required (up to 10% international travel)

Job Skills Required:

    • Strong English, business, technical writing, and graphic design skills
    • Strong expertise with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, especially with templates and their data models
    • Self-motivator that delivers results with minimal supervision
    • Ability to quickly analyze and learn new technologies
    • Fluency in one or more of the following technologies: - Network Security / Advanced Threats - Network Access (Ethernet, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP); Switching and Routing -authentication, Authorization and Accounting (AAA) - Application Security - Application layer protocols
    • Familiarity with Brainshark, Camtasia, or other screen casting tools is beneficial


  • Familiarity with Moodle Learning Management Systems (LMS)
