General Accountant or Payroll Specialist (duties listed below):

  1. Process biweekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees;
  2. Preparation of T4s, government reports, and remittances;
  3. Timely completion of month-end and year-end closing including GL and bank reconciliations;
  4. Prepare and interpret financial statements and financial reports;
  5. Provide analysis of financial results and KPIs;
  6. Assist Controller in process improvement and system implementation projects;
  7. Liaise with external accountant to support corporate tax and reporting compliance activities;
  8. Perform financial analysis and complete ad hoc reports;
  9. Establish and maintain internal controls;
  10. Support financial, tax and other audits by third parties and government agencies;
